Meet Dawn and Peter: 22 years and counting!

In November of 1998 Dawn and Peter Brittain opened Animal House Doggie B&B in Sarasota, Florida. They created an open environment for dogs to romp and play with their friends. A place that was a home away from home. Owners could feel good about leaving their furry family members while they were away knowing they were in a safe and friendly space to get much needed exercise and make new friends.

In 2009 Dawn and Peter decided to sell their business and move to Vermont, a place they fell in love with years ago, and raise their family closer to relatives. With Animal House of New England we offer the same love and care to your pets. A safe place where they can romp and play all day.

In 2017 we built our larger open air building giving our four legged clients more space to run and play inside and out. We have the most amazing view and lots of wildlife for the dogs to bark at when they come by to visit.

We are situated right off of Route 2 in West Danville. Convenient traveling anywhere in the NEK.

As our way of giving back to the community we work with VT Dog Rescue fostering puppies brought up from the southern states. We love helping them learn to trust people again. Getting them accustomed to being around other dogs, cats, and children. The best part is watching them meet their new forever family and knowing they will grow up loved and cared for.
